The Client
Fujitsu Ltd, a Japanese multinational information and communications technology corporation, established in 1935 and headquartered in Tokyo, is renowned as the world’s sixth-largest IT services provider by annual revenue and the largest in Japan as of 2021. Targeting homeowners aged 25 to 44, Fujitsu has been at the forefront of technological innovation, particularly in healthcare.
Fujitsu aimed to introduce its ecosystem of technology partners to the National Health Service (NHS), aligning with their initiative to invest in digital foundations, enhance workforce productivity and wellbeing, and ultimately improve the patient experience within the healthcare system. Specifically, the project targeted NHS staff members, emphasizing Fujitsu’s commitment to supporting healthcare professionals.
To effectively communicate their message and appreciation to NHS staff, Fujitsu collaborated with us to devise a personalised approach. The concept centred around creating video boxes, each containing a tailored message recorded by Fujitsu for the recipient. Alongside the video message, the box included a personalised note, reflecting the recipient’s name and role within the NHS. Additionally, each box was carefully curated with merchandise, including a branded metallic pen and a luxury embossed A5 Moleskin notebook, enhancing the recipient’s experience.
Product Specifications
The video box boasted a sleek design, featuring a matte laminated finish and a 7-inch HS IPS screen within. To keep the items safe, the box included a foam insert designed to hold the branded pen and the luxury notebook.
The internal dimensions of the box were 227mm x 167mm x 67mm, accommodating the A5 specifications seamlessly.
Apart from the personalised video message and note, the box included additional merchandise to further delight the recipients. This merchandise comprised a branded metallic pen, exuding elegance with its all-black design and printed Fujitsu logo, and a luxury A5 Moleskin notebook in red, featuring an embossed Fujitsu logo, accompanied by a black elastic page separator and pen loop. Printed postcards were also included to complement the message conveyed in the video.
Conclusion
We carefully packed and shipped each box to NHS workers across the UK, paying close attention to every detail. The external mailer, crafted from brown kraft B flute box, ensured the safe transportation of the video boxes, maintaining the integrity of the contents throughout the delivery process. This comprehensive approach aimed to not only convey Fujitsu’s message effectively but also to express gratitude and support to the dedicated NHS staff members.
In conclusion, the Fujitsu Video Box project stands as a testament to the company’s commitment to innovation and appreciation for healthcare professionals. By leveraging personalised video messages and carefully curated merchandise, Fujitsu successfully conveyed its support to NHS staff members, fostering a sense of partnership and camaraderie in their collective efforts to enhance healthcare services.
